Selunuk Village Government Distributes Food Aid to House Fire Victim at KM 91

INDONESIA, ProBorneo.id – The Selunuk Village Government, Seruyan Raya District, has distributed social assistance in the form of basic food packages to Priyo Sujono, a resident whose house was destroyed by fire.

The aid was handed over directly to the victim’s family at their residence.The fire that engulfed Priyo Sujono’s home caused material losses and forced the family to seek temporary shelter with relatives.

The incident drew attention from the village government as part of its social responsibility toward affected residents.Erwin Supardi, Acting Head of Selunuk Village, said the food aid was provided as a gesture of concern and moral support for the victims.

He hopes the assistance will help ease the burden on Priyo Sujono’s family in meeting basic needs after the fire.

“This aid is our way of showing the village government’s concern. We hope it can help lighten the burden on our fellow citizen affected by the fire,” said Erwin Supardi during the handover.

The food package contains daily necessities such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, and other staple items. It is expected to cover the family’s consumption needs in the coming days.Erwin added that the village government will also coordinate with relevant agencies to explore the possibility of further assistance. The fire occurred at KM 91 RT 6, Selunuk Village, and the victim’s family still needs support to recover and rebuild after the disaster.
